- IAS is the short form of Indian Administrative Service.
- The basic eligibility criteria for UPSC examination is any graduation degree (regular or distant)
- Prelims exam is objective in nature with multiple choice questions. There will be two papers – 200 marks each. Paper 1 is related to General Studies and Paper 2 is related to CSAT. For selection to the main exam, only marks of Paper 1 will be counted, provided the candidate has 33 percent marks in Paper 2.
- Cut off is decided from Paper 1 by the UPSC every year.
- There will be negative marking for incorrect answers for all questions except for questions with differential marking for correct and no so correct answers.
- The Main Examination will consist of a written examination and an interview. The written examination consists of 9 papers of the conventional descriptive type. Two papers (out of 9) will be of qualifying in nature. Marks obtained for all the compulsory papers (Paper–I to Paper-VII) and Marks obtained in Interview or Personality Test will be counted for ranking.

- Second Year degree students can apply for Pre Cum Mains program, while students from Higher Secondary education can opt for Foundation Course specially designed for them.
- To be eligible for One year of Free coaching, students must register for our entrance exam conducted once a year in the month of July.
